Tip: There’s no need to get a perfect match because your hip pads will be worn beneath other layers. Simply pick the color that is closest to your skin tone; most customers order the Light color.
Tip: Customers below 150 pounds are usually happy with the Regular Size. Customers between 150 and 200 often select the Large Size. Customers over 200 pounds are usually happiest with the Big Girl Size. For reference, the model in the video is 5’9″ and 170 pounds. She wears the Large size when she goes out and wishes to make her outfit pop. She sometimes wears the Regular size for a less dramatic daytime look
DressTech silicone hip pads are available in two different lengths for a professional fit. Most customers choose the Standard Length for a more gradual blend and feminine thighs. I’ve played around with cross-dressing off and on for 50 years or so. Recently, I’ve had the urge to cosplay Isis from the old “Secrets of Isis” show. So I’ve taken it up again.
One thing that has always bothered me was my panties never looked quite right, tuck or no tuck. I would look at them on my pathetic male hips and look how they hung on the models in the adverts and just sigh and give up.
Well, this time I decided to take the plunge and purchase a pair of hip pads. Yours seemed to be about the best on the market. I am 6’1″ and 185 lbs. The commentary suggested purchasing the Big Girls, so I did.
When they arrived, I tried them on under a pair of my wife’s spanx. Instant curves! Then when I pulled on a pair a pantyhose over them and slipped on a pair of panties over them all — WOW! There on my body was the fit that I had been craving for for all these years. The panties looked just like they belonged. I didn’t even have a problem with the bulge since the spanx took care of that. They looked for all the world like feminine undergarments on a feminine body.
I then tried on about half a dozen more different pairs, some of which look terrible on my male hips. But now they all looked exactly like they belonged there. I almost cried.

I purchased a set of short pads for the recent Gala and I could not be happier. The helped create a nice figure and do not show under a shorter skirt like my long pads. The stayed put under tight and hose and were comfortable worn for 8 hrs+. When placed under a pair of hose I can wear the pads under leggings without a noticeable seam. My set of back pads was also compatible with the short pad set just as they are with the longer pads. My longer pads have been worn well over a hundred times and are 5+ year old and still in great shape. I expect the shorter ones will last as long.

Fantastic product! I just received them a few days ago, and I’ve already spent two nights wearing them. No one in my life knows I do this, so unfortunately it’s all in secret, and not shared with the ones that I love. That being said, I think the product is extremely well made and worth every penny. I wear them beneath a silicone full body suit, if you’re curious, they work almost seamlessly beneath the body suit. A much more feminine appearance than when using clothing items to secure them in place, you can’t even tell that they exist. I wish I could post a photo to show the results.

These are just essential and I never dress without them. They are thin enough at the edges to wear without lines under leggings and comfortable to wear all day. They really give you a great shape. A periodic cleaning in an Ivory soap solution is all that’s needed.

I would like to start off by saying that I can not say enough about these pads. I am on my third pair but only because I purged the first two pair during darker days, but those days are over as I am out with family, friends, and neighbors. I have owned my present pair for about 3 years now, and I would like to talk about their durability, realism, and comfort. For one, I do not get dressed without them, when I dress, about three times a week, I wear them all day, I talking 8-12 hours at a time. Girls that is a lot of use in three years, and the only wear is very minor fraying at the edges. These pads are very realistic, they go on cold but warm up in minutes. I purchased the Big girl pads and I still add a bit more padding under my pads, what can I say, I love my hips. I also wear butt pads. I’m 185 pounds, and 5′ 8″. I do use the Shape N Go girdle which holds them very well and makes it easier to go to the bathroom. Once the pads warm up I can not even feel them, it’s like they are part of me, I have never had them move around on me, even when sitting. I always wear skirts or dresses and when I wear a short skirt or dress I just wear two pair of tights to hide the girdle, that works very well. I live in Washington state so it is not as hot as other places, but it does get in the 90’s during the summer and you will sweat a bit but I have never had an issues with sweat showing. I adore these pads, they are amazing, I wish I could show you a picture. I am very careful with my pads, especially having long nails and if I ever have a accident and damage them I will not hesitate to purchase them again and again and again, well you get my point. Believe me girls you will not be disappointed, buy them, they will change you life, they changed mine. I now got out all of the time and I go everywhere and I get treated very well, I finally happy, thank you Dress Tech.

For years it was fit and flair dress if I wanted to pull off any semblance of a figure. Pants were just out of the question. 5’-10” 165 lbs and no hips.
Got the size regular thinking they would probably be too small but would stay in place better. Happy to report they aren’t too small. They make a huge difference. I can ware just about anything now and jeans and yoga pants look perfect. It’s so dramatic for just 3” added to my hip dimensions wow!
Right against the skin is the call. They have a slight stick to them that doesn’t wear off, so they don’t slip even with shear to the waist nylons. If you get the bigger ones you will need more support.
Pair them with the butt pads for sure. It’s a perfect look and definitely worth the extra money.
Take your time moving the pads around in front of the mirror for the best look depending on what your wearing. Once you get it down ,it’s real easy and not having to wear restrictive garments is a real plus.

All the good things people say in these reviews are true.
* SHIPPING: My package arrived yesterday, I was stunned, it didn’t take long to get here (New Zealand) from the US, so the shipping you pay for is great too. A plain package with the small print saying ‘fashion accessory’, in case that’s an issue for anyone.
* EFFECTIVENESS: I’m trans and though I’ve transitioned medically, my hips still aren’t proportionate to my shoulders. I’ve used other pads in the past but these are just streets ahead, so real-looking AND feeling.
* SIZE / FIT: I got the large size that tapers down the side of the thigh; I’m 5ft 9″ and my shoulders are about 17″ across, and I’d say these are just right for me. Looks amazing in combination with my real boobs. I also bought the crotch-less shorts to hold the pads in place — what a genius idea.
* DETECTABILITY: Applied right, you cant detect these even under lighter dresses (maybe if the fabric was real thin and a light colour like white or bubble-gum pink). Even then you could just wear a slip. I wear high-rise panties over the top and all you can see is the visible panty line sometimes. Jeans and thicker, darker skirts/dresses, no way anyone will know.
* COMFORT: The weight is reassuring/ real-feeling to me. You’d have to be super unfit to ever get tired of walking around with these on, though. Only issue is heat. Can get a bit sweaty (talc is advised by manufacturer). They still don’t move around though, they kind of cling to your skin so you’re almost peeling them off. For summer, knee-length shorts would be fine with these, or a maxi dress, or anything mid-calf or knee-length or ankle-length. The product’s just so good I might save up and buy a set of the smaller pads which can be used with shorter shorts. Using these on stage under hot lights might be uncomfortable but that’s uncomfortable for any performer anyway.
* DURABILITY: These things aren’t flimsy and they have the specially designed edges to prevent splitting. There is a warning from the manufacturer to be careful with fingernails so as not to scratch them. I guess try not to bump into any sharp objects. Not sure how they’ll hold up over time but they seem robust enough. They come with a discreet neoprene case you can store them safely in.
* VALUE: if you’re thinking of buying hip pads which you’re going to use often, I’d say DON’T waste your money buying a cheaper set; save up the extra and get a set of these, they’re so worth it! I finally got the chance to try out the Silicone Hip Pads for the first time, and OMG! They are Fantastic! I’m slight-built (5’8″; 130 lbs.), so I ordered the regular size. The pads give me a very natural, slim feminine curve. Not too small; not too large. I DO recommend ordering a Shape ‘N Go Crotchless Body Shaper because getting the pads on and positioned properly is difficult, especially for newbies such as Myself. You’ll also appreciate the “convenience” of having the open-crotch as well!
Also, delivery was quite speedy, and I’m Definitely a Satisfied Customer!

So after a few years of using home made “pillow” type pads I finally broke down and spent the money on the full length hip pads and also the butt pads. I’m around 5’10” and 185lbs so I got the large size and they look and feel amazing, much more comfortable and natural looking that what I was using before. I probably could have gone with the big girl size because I have larger than average shoulders/upper body and a fairly narrow waist. it might be smart to take some measurements before and see what size would get you to your ideal shape. I use a Spanx high wasted mid thigh shaper to hold everything in place and it seems to work perfectly, I had no trouble getting them in place and haven’t had any issues with them moving throughout the day. I couldn’t be happier with the hip or butt pads and totally recommend them to anyone they are def worth it.

So far, absolutely amazing. I’ve had them for a few days and have only done a couple of tests, but the first word that came to mind after putting them on was “magical”. Having pelvis and hip dis-morphia/phoria, these pads hit the nail on the head. I am 5’11, ~190lbs, and I got the large size. At first I thought they might be a little too big, but then I got some support garments which really makes them hug your body more tightly and they blend in very naturally. A little more compression also helps them to stay in perfectly place and not crease or bend when bending over or sitting down.
I’m going to experiment with some other undergarments, but from what I’ve seen so far they totally work.
Another great thing is that you can position these in a few different ways to create different hip, thigh, and butt shapes. I’ve found that moving them a little further back than shown online creates a more natural overall shape for my body, but YMMV.

Professional female illusionist with 10 years experience here. Wore foam pads for years and always hated them. Discovered these a few years ago and threw my foam pads in the trash. Best invesment I’ve made for my craft. I usually wear two to three pairs of dance tights with a pair of nude fishnets on top and they are unclockable. My *only* complaint is that when its really hot, sweat rings form around the edges of the pads and show through the tights. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

After much hesitation, I finally bought a pair of standard pads. Why did I wait so long?
The pads went on under shape wear and felt and looked so natural. It warmed up after a while and moved naturally. I wasn’t even aware of the additional weight, which is substantial. My friends tried but couldn’t detect the edges.
They stayed on very well all day. And I did sweat some under hot weather but it wasn’t too bad.
The shape they gave me was realistic and fantastic in pencil dresses, fitted jeans, leggings and yoga pants. I even wore a jumpsuit and loved how I looked.
The standard length pads give a great look but you’re restricted to knee length skirts & dresses and pants, jeans, leggings, etc.
Now I’m thinking about the butt pads and short pads.

Just received my HIP PADS. I bought the STANDARD length LARGE and they look great, but really wish I purchased the BIG GIRL size. Several things to keep in mind….. I love to wear tight jeans and leggings, the hip pads do add volume and I may need to lose a little weight in order to fit into my very tight jeans. Went shopping tonight and was still able to fit into Medium leggings and “stretchy” SIZE 8 pants, but had to go up a size on the less stretchable fabrics. The pads add great shape and loved trying on jackets where the “hip flare” would show below the short jackets. I looked around the store and I had a much better Femm shape than a lot of Genetic Girls. I purchased two pairs of shorts because the hip flare looked great with them. So now I have to purchase the short hip pads so I can wear all my Short shorts and Mini dresses. Well worth the money because it enhances the look of ALL your clothes. One last thing – The added weight of the pads helped to add swing and swivel to “my walk”. 6 STARS….

Best buy ever to enhance a men’s no-hip to a girl’s-hip. As crossdresser I like them very much. Bought the big girl-set because of the lack of any hip on my male figure. The big-girl is really big but on a man’s hip it is definitely not to big. They are great under tight dresses but also under leather or latex. They don’t get pushed away under the pressure of the garment. If you are looking for sometime like this: do it!

For years I made my own foam pads… OMG these are soooo much better. Very comfortable to wear and you can hide them under as little as a 1 or 2 pairs of tights. The edges completely disappear. WELL worth the investment. I bought one of the original pairs (no non tear edge) and I loved them. I later upgraded and bought the new style with the reinforced edge. I don’t have to worry now about tearing the edge when I put them on. One of the best investments for my girl side I ever made!

After many years of trialling foam pads and generic (cheap!) silicone hip pads that were never actually hip shaped, I came across the DressTech hip pads early this year on youtube. As an athletic guy who cross dresses, i found foam pads looked too bulky and clearly showed when i sat down or moved in certain ways – I wanted something that mimicked a natural hip.
From my first contact with the team via Facebook (they answered my message within the hour), they very patiently answered all my questions and offered me advice on the best hip pad for the look i wanted to achieve. There was no guesswork involved – we discussed, height, weight, my body shape and the silhouette and figure i wanted to portray. This was all offered with no pressure to actually buy the pads and i genuinely felt like the team were actually helping me and freely offering their expertise without a ‘hard sell’. They were genuine and honest in discussions and steered me away from the pads I had originally enquired about to a smaller (cheaper) size based on my desire to create a believable feminine silhouette.
They also explained that silicone hip pads would be heavier than foam and explained the differences in weight, shape and how this would allow the hips to sit closer to the body, require less support (i.e. one pair of support shorts vs 3pairs of tights and shorts over foam) and move with the body.
Delivery was quick and well packaged. I will admit it took me a few attempts to find the right position for the pads originally, but once they are on and have heated slightly to body temperature they feel like a second skin. They are flexible and move with your body, even when sitting down- and even held down under one pair of support shorts they are totally unnoticeable as pads! When i have been out with foam pads in the past Ive always been somewhat self conscious about the way i move etc and the fact that as soon as someone puts a hand on that hip, they know its not yours. With these hip pads I’ve been out trekking through central London, danced for hours and even swung around poles in a gentleman’s club (don’t ask).
If you want pads that actually look and feel like hips, that don’t leave tell tale bulky lines and creases and don’t make you feel self conscious – invest in a pair. Guaranteed they will last you years – I’ve had mine 9 months now, worn them weekly and they still look and feel like new.

I have looked at all manner of prosthetic enhancements for my hips and posterior and have only seen extremely expensive products like “Gurl Shorts” and “Fem Girdle” for near or over $1000 and happened on this product and was somewhat skeptical about them. For the price I could not pass this opportunity to try something different and I am very glad I didn’t. Attaching these is somewhat clumsy however once they are in place I don’t really notice them, you don’t need an adhesive if you wear them with spanx or nylons/tights but I prefer to use Shapewear. I will be ordering a Regular size for my every day and use my Large size for weekends. these are one of the best purchases I have done especially for an impulse buy and if you are like me who has no but or hips these are great if you are on a budget.
